Ok hopefully you actually watched the video. OMG 2 GB/s really!!! That just blows my mind. I loved the upgrade from PATA to SATA. I feel great knowing my one SSD in my laptop is significantly less likely to fail as compared to a standard disk based HD, but this is just a whole new world of crazy. The cynic might point out that 2000 MB/s over 24 hard drives is 83.3 MB/s which isn’t as impressive to think about, but that’s still around double what I’ve consistently gotten out of my Western Digital 7200 RPM SATA drives which I consider to be pretty good quality. I don’t really have a ton to say about this because the video explains itself pretty well.
